The SAP University Competency Center in the Ourso College of Business Administration provides members of the SAP University Alliance program with access to a number of SAP e-business solutions such as ERP, CRM, APO, EBP, and SEM. Currently LSU hosts these solutions for academic use to 12 Universities around the country. Faculty curriculum development workshops, sponsored by SAP, are offered periodically throughout the year. The UCC provides a common platform for Business School scholars to develop innovative curriculum that brings business integration and sophisticated and powerful business solutions into graduate and undergraduate courses. This experiential learning environment has proven over and over again to give students an edge on competition in the job market. Faculty members also develop keener insight into various aspects of how these solutions are developed, implemented, adopted and diffused throughout organizations.
